So last week, I made my WIDWAD article as a video podcast. No one told me if they like that better, so we’re back to text for Week 20 of Shop D&D (Or Week 4 of Season 2). I spent my prep time this week working on the over-plot and neglected the actual question of […]
This is the second week of season 2! I thought we wouldn’t be separating, after last week. Much to my surprise, the group that runs before mine and usually breaks up to join mine announced that they wouldn’t be stopping and would run parallel to mine. Which I don’t have a problem with at all! […]
This was the first week of the second season of Shop D&D at MCM. I had thought we’d be splitting the group, but then we were short 3ish people and that didn’t make sense anymore. So I ran a game for 7 or so. And I, of course, did some things wrong…
This was week 16, the final week of ‘Season 1’ of Shop D&D, the conclusion of ‘The Ballad of the Blue Fox’ and one of the worst sessions, from my perspective, that I have run thus far.
Week 5 was a weird week in D&D. Because there was a problem, but it wasn’t really my fault, but then, it kind of was because of the stories I was telling? And heralded my current issues of D&D.
Week 4 of D&D brought another player from me homegroup to the table, an another new player in general, ripped a disadvantage out of a racial feature, and showed how jailbreaks are not supposed to go.
Still working my way forward, Week 3 of game play features the introduction of our fourth and fifth players, the first mention of the Blue Fox, and marked the first “encounter ending spell” at shop D&D.
I’m trying to back fill all the Shop D&D/What I did wrong articles. So let’s roll back the clock to the middle of February, to the first game I ran on a Wednesday. Thursdays hadn’t been panning out, as my interested player was interested in the type of MTG they played on Thursdays. He was […]
So this week, being week 15 of Shop D&D, some players confronted me, saying they had been reading the blog. (Okay, ATM, they’re probably the only ones reading the blog- other than random bored people from Twitter) It was a weird feeling, that people had read what I had written, that things I used to […]
This is week 14 of Shop D&D and as I’m still struggling with where we’re headed in the Ballad of the Blue Fox (Totes just came up with that. Is that a good title?) so I had planned to do a secondary thing. But that didn’t go to plan at all.
