I rewrote this scene a few times. Got it so it flows right, and drops the proper piece of info that’s relevant later, for new people and as a refresher. So that’s great.
Not happy with the text, but I think the sprout is an interesting symptom of leveling…
Well, apparently, I have until Monday to figure out what Rare Candy do in my comic. This is not the direction I was planning when I scripted this comic. Or when I drew it. I, in fact, was working on the last speech bubble, then rewrote all of the bubbles. Got to keep the art tho, which is nice.
Man, this went through some revisions, but, finally, just drew it without a script, just a rough idea. And I almost did it without words, but wasn’t quite clear enough on things.
No idea how zubat is holding that package, but it is. Yeah
The final running strip!
Err, I mean. Man, another running strip. I hope they can get away without doing much more of that.
Man, one of these days, I’ll have to figure out Bulbasaur’s spots. Nail them in place.
I should do the same with Bae’s story too. But it is not this day.
How do you pluralize Natu? Maybe just ‘Natu’? yeah, that looks right. Does that work for all pokemon? Geodudes. Vulpixen. Ninetaleses. Arcei.
Yeah, I’ll do it that way from now on. I’m okay with Baeyru being wrong about things.
So, back when I first decided on Natu as Tim’s Pokemon, this was a plot point I knew would happen. I don’t know if I can talk about it more without spoilers, so, you know, think about it, I guess? Not like anyone reads these things…
So… comic work has been at a stand still, because my computer had a broken fan and was over heating and shutting whenever I opened GiMP to actually work on comics. But we’re up and running now, so I have a lot to catch up on, but we’ll get there.
Oh, and in this comic? uh… I hate phones. I might start having video calls show up, because this cell phone thing isn’t working artistically.
A lot of thought bubble here. I’d love to cut back over to Rachael and Tim after that last line, but it doesn’t make sense. I have to get this part of the arc to a specific place before leaving here.
But that line will be useful for Wednesdays page, when we do cut over to them!
